Wind Powered Vehicles

Wind powered vehicles are a newer side of kiting and sailing. Travel miles by power kite and buggy or mountainboard. Sail on the land using a sail and mast on one of our landsailers. Harness the power of the wind and travel at speeds up to 65 mph.

Kite Buggy

The kite buggy was developed in the early 1980's by Peter Lynn. Today's buggies are more advanced and refined than those early designs. Just three wheels, four lines, a power kite, a little open space and some wind is all you need. The adrenaline rush of racing up to 40 mph just inches off the ground increases and heightens the physical sensation of speed, making you feel like your going 100!

Mountain Board

Mountain Boards are an off road skate board with pneumatic tires, foot straps, and an adjustable suspension for better ride and handling performance. Ride them with or without a kite use gravity to travel down hill and over bumps and jumps. Use a power kite and the wind to provide the energy to ride in parks, cross-country, on a dry lake bed or any other open space.

Landsailer

Landsailers, dirt boats, land yachts... whatever you call them are one of the coolest ways to travel with the wind. Ride by yourself in the WinJammer or with a friend in the two seat TwinJammer. Landsailers are derived from ultralight glider materials and designs.  They are light enough to hand carry, yet so potent they can exceed 65 MPH with nothing more than wind power.
