NASA ParaWing NPW 5 Power Kite Details
Originally designed for the NASA Space Program by Francis Rogallo, the initial concept was of a brake parachute to slow the descent of returning space vehicles. The NPW 5 has been refined, improved, and with the addition of a bridle transformed into a high performance traction kite. The NPW 5 is one of the easiest and least complicated power foils on the market. Without spars and chambers, the NPW series can be flown either as dual or quad line kite.
The NPW 5 comes ready to fly with 485/220# x 80' x 4 flying lines, quad handles, instructions and draw-string/toggle stuff bag.
